Culture of Donation
Fitot has been promoting the dissemination of organ, tissue and cell donation as acts with high moral and social value for over fifteen years, supporting training and information initiatives developed in collaboration with AIDO, ANED and ACTI and the other major Volunteer organisations in the field.
Our aim is
to ensure that people can make choices on donation and transplant that are
independent and informed. For this reason, FITOT has participated in the
donation support campaigns promoted by the Italian Ministry of Health and
National Transplant Centre for years, and decided to become the main sponsor of
the Gruppo Ciclistico Trapiantati d'Organo a
group of organ recipients who practice the sport of cycling to spread awareness
and understanding of donation and transplant among the general population.
